Ivel Valley Fishery is a coarse fishing lake located between Broom and Stanford in Bedfordshire. This 6 acre lake contains a variety of coarse fish with double figured Bream and also Carp and Catfish go well over 20lb mark. The banks are well worn with a section for season ticket holders only. With an average depth of 4 feet the island is constantly investigated by the carp as is the bankside margins. Not a water for casting long distances, so quiet margin fishing is the key. Boilies and pellets are the best baits but don't over feed. The water dose see a lot of pressure due to the quality of fish stock. The water is open all year. Tickets can be purchased at Andy's Angling Centre, 19, High Street, Shefford, Bedfordshire, SG17 5DD. Check the Nearest Tackle Shop Section.
