Palm Tree Lagoon Fishery 9.5 out of 10 based on 2 ratings. 2 user reviews.
Palm Tree Lagoon already had the biggest Chao Phraya catfish in Thailand, the biggest Mekong catfish, the biggest redtail catfish and the biggest arapaima - now it also has the biggest Siamese carp - at 63 kg ! (there may be a couple of even bigger carp in Bungsamran but, given the enormous number of snags in this lake, they are almost impossible to catch). With the added advantage of very reasonable prices and a very friendly and knowledgeable crew, Palm Tree Lagoon is, to my mind, the very best fishing destination in Thailand - and I daresay, as far as freshwater fishing is concerned, in the whole world. Book a trip there with Benny and Tim, I can't figure out how you could be disappointed !

Palm tree lagoon is probably the number # 1 location for fishing in thailand. Having fished all over the world, it is very hard to find a location with such a diverse number of fish species, all of which are trophy size ! The guides are top notch, and it has been my experience that if you nominate a fish species, they will go "that extra mile" to ensure that you are succesfull in your quest for that elusive monster;-I have caught most of the fish on my wish list, but with 80 species available, it means that one will have to return. I would reccomend this fishery anyday, and would not hesitate to take any client to fish at Palm tree lagoon, which i intend to do in the future.I have had the opportunity to fish there for 2 x 5 day safari's, and am in the process of booking my 3rd trip for some of the smaller species.Monsters in their own right !The Staff & Management are serious fisherfolk, who take delight in your sucess & are geniune and honest, so take the opportunity to catch the fish of your dreams !! I did, and i will be back again to see if i can catch bigger monsters than the last trip ! See you there - Tight Lines - Andrew
