Hi, i have not fished there for a few years and it may have tailed off as most have ue to poachers, but on lures pike and perch will be the target, these along with roach, rudd, carp, tench, odd bream and gudgeon are all in the water, carp used to go to 15-20lb although can be few and far between, if pike and perch are your thing, use smaller lures as whilst big ones will get big pike and perch there may only be 1 or none in there, using smaller lures makes the smaller fish more likely, use a wire trace if lures as pike will take, or you can fish with plastcs/jig heads or drop shot which would be my choice on that water, dropshotting with 3-5 inch plastics, worm plastics would do well here, although if u have transport, much much better fishing on the stour at clare or just past at glemsford(turn right to foxearth, park up just over bridge, river has excellent fish) or urther on to free fishing at rodbridge( huge pike and perch) and day tickets at sudbury, all within 30 mins of u along 1 road, th stour is much better fishing
